Related News and Updates
Currently, the bus card system in our city has achieved interoperability with over 200 cities. Regarding the usage of interoperable bus cards, relevant staff have provided detailed explanations.
Cross-city Usage: Cards must have the "Transport Union" logo to be used in other cities.
On January 15th of last year, after completing the interoperability transformation of buses, our city began supporting the use of interoperable bus cards in Luoyang. The Luoyang Intercity Transport Card was launched at that time.
The person in charge of the IC card recharge center of the bus company explained that the "Transport Union" logo on the bus card indicates that the card can be used for cross-city and cross-transport consumption.
Expansion of Scope: One-card systems can now be used across provinces in our country.
Initially, when the Luoyang Intercity Transport Card was launched, only about 100 cities nationwide had achieved interoperability. This means that cardholders could use their cards to ride buses in these cities. Among them, there are cities like Pingdingshan, Anyang, Xinxiang, Jiaozuo, Xuchang, Shangqiu, Xinyang, and Zhumadian within our own province.
Recently, the scope of interoperable cities has further expanded, with all 18 provincial-level cities in our province now included. This means that with the Luoyang Intercity Transport Card, you can now use it to ride buses in any city across our province. The responsible person stated that there are now over 200 cities nationwide that have achieved interoperability. As the scope continues to expand, by 2020, citizens can expect to use their cards nationwide with ease.
How to Identify Interoperable Cities: It's simple! Just look for the "Transport Interconnection" logo on the bus card reader, and you can rest assured that it works!
Special Reminders: Non-reportable, non-registered, not rechargeable remotely or refundable in other cities
It's important to note that one-card systems in any city are non-registered cards. If lost, they cannot be reported for replacement. One-cards cannot be recharged remotely or refunded in other cities, nor can they be used for overdraft purchases.
In our city, there is no need to provide any documents to apply for a one-card system; simply pay a deposit of 25 yuan to get started. Those who already have a bus IC card can also apply for a one-card system without affecting their riding experience.
If a one-card system is damaged or cannot be used normally, citizens can take their card to the bus IC card recharge center's window 10 for verification. After 7 working days from the date of acceptance, they can exchange their card with the application form at that window. If it is damaged due to human factors, a card exchange fee will be charged; if it is natural damage, no exchange fee will be charged, and the remaining balance on the old card will be transferred to the new one.
